Passive sentences


In passive sentences, the thing receiving the action is the subject of the sentence and the thing doing the action is optionally included near the end of the sentence. You can use the passive form if you think that the thing receiving the action is more important or should be emphasized. You can also use the passive form if you do not know who is doing the action or if you do not want to mention who is doing the action.

Rumus :

[Thing receiving action] + [be] + [past participle of verb] + [by] + [thing doing action]

Active sentences

is a sentence that the person do a job. An important feature that marks the active sentence, that sentence in the form of predicate verbs beginning with me (N)-and air-conditioned. However, not a few sentences on the activity not accompanied both the prefix, for example happens in eating and drinking.

Rumus :

[Thing doing action] + [verb] + [thing receiving action]

Active sentences into passive sentences :

Subjects in active sentence has been at the front of the verb, and object there behind the verb. Note the changes in passive sentences below. Objects can be located in front of the verb. Past Participle (Verb to 3) is always used in active sentences.

9. The books will be arranged by albert

10. Mr. Albert is going to be contacted by Putri
